Can you hear me?

I thought you could not talk and swim at the same time, but I was wrong. I do talk. Ok, let’s say that I scream. And I swear. Mainly in Spanish. =) And that happens almost every time I bump into a jellyfish, or a specially big seaweed. And, don’t get me wrong, I love jellyfish (my favorite animal in the Ocean), but every time I see them in the water they give me a fright. And I scream. And then if I’m swimming with someone that is not used to this kind of interactions I always get the same question, was that you? Are you ok?  The thing is, you can hear almost anything in the water. Did you know that sound travel almost 5 times faster in the water than in the air? That means, a sound made on the coast of Lisbon, will be heard in the coast of Bermuda roughly one hour later, how cool is that?
